The Blinker at Blinker

Dan Berger, formerly head of bars at London’s The Ned and bars manager at The Gordon Ramsay Group, has returned to Manchester to launch a new venue on Spring Gardens.

Blinker opens Tuesday 17th May and is located on King Street, close to Hotel Gotham and Six by Nico.

The bar takes its name from the cocktail Blinker (pictured above), which takes in rye, grapefruit and raspberry, and, in keeping with the theme, will serve “reimagined classics based around four flavours each month, determined by seasonal British produce”.

The fit out of the bar mirrors the sustainability aspirations of the menu, using a combination of up-cycled furniture and sustainable materials.

Berger told Class: "It’s an absolute pleasure to finally get the chance to launch Blinker in my home town of Manchester. The site is perfect and has been a real labour of love, but we made it!

"Opening a bar where we can focus on classic style drinks but driving in-season flavours through them in a reimagined way has been something I have wanted to launch for years and so excited to finally have the platform to do so."
