London Cocktail Week has announced a one-off 'warm-up festival', taking place 5-11 July 2021.

A mini version of the main event, the London Cocktail Week Warm-Up will see 30 of London’s “best hidden bars” creating £7 cocktails for those who buy a London Cocktail Week 2021 wristband early.

Each venue taking part in the London Cocktail Week Warm-Up has been “hand-picked” by the LCW team, who prioritised bars that have no outside space and were therefore closed until May this year.

Among the bars taking part are Satan’s Whiskers, Coupette, Happiness Forgets, Swift Shoreditch, Oriole, Blind Pig, Shrub & Shutter, Funkidory, Little Mercies, Callooh Callay, Disrepute and Homeboy.

A statement from LCW said: “The mini festival is not only a chance to make up for lost time but also to support those bars within London's hospitality scene that need it the most. Take a week to explore and celebrate the basement bars and hidden gems that have had to stay closed the longest.

“In 2020 London Cocktail Week was a lifeline to the capital’s bar scene. This year, once again the festival is committed to helping the hospitality industry bounce back by giving people a reason to get back into enjoying London’s unrivalled cocktail culture and celebrate a new beginning.”

Wristbands cost £15 and will be valid for both the Warm-Up in July and for the main London Cocktail Week festival which sees 250 bars take part and has once again been extended to the entire month of October.

Guests can purchase wristbands via the LCW website and collect them from any one of the participating venues while the festival is taking place.
