Boutique hotel, Zetter Townhouse Marylebone has announced the appointment of Gregorio Soriente as its new director of mixology.

The former American Bar bartender joins the hotel’s bar team with a London hotel pedigree having worked as the bar manager at The Distillery and bars head bartender at Conrad London St James.

Speaking to CLASS, Soriente said: “The main reason I'm joining a new place is human interaction, life is too short, and hours are too long to pass time with people you don't want to stay with.

“After so many years of corporate, joining an independently owned luxury boutique concept gives you a lot of autonomy to be ever-evolving and the opportunity to experiment and develop new ideas.

“This is a role that allows me to lead and supervise all bar operations and planning, including but not limited to new menus, brands, industry events and people.”
