Entries for the CLASS Bartenders’ Brand Awards 2022 are now open.
Now in its fifth year, the UK on-trade awards sees spirits, wine, beer and drinks products tested by some of the biggest names in UK bartending.
The format is different to most drinks tastings, with three scoring measures used to allocate medals: a blind tasting, followed by a value-for-money assessment and finally scores given for design, considering functionality and back bar appeal.
The competition provides independent and honest reviews for drinks brands targeting the UK bar trade, be it cocktail venues, restaurant or hotel bars. The results are published in CLASS magazine, as a source of reference for bartenders, bar managers and bar owners.
The dedicated judging panels for 2022 will see participating bartenders chosen by their specialism, ensuring each category of spirits, wine and beer are evaluated by those who know them best.
