London Cocktail Week is offering its 2021 show as a free platform to bars across the UK this October.

Normally a showcase for only London bars, its organisers Hannah Sharman-Cox and Siobhan Payne have widened the once again month-long show’s lens, offering talent from across the UK - and further afield - the chance to showcase their drinks at the new Covent Garden hub of the festival.

Guest shifts will take place at the Main Bar beneath The Essence House, a multi-sensory drinks experience in Carriage Hall on Covent Garden’s Floral Street created by The London Essence Co and produced by Global Bartending.

London Cocktail Week will provide practical assistance, with a guide on where to stay, help with logistics and advise on how to partner with brands for the shift.

Those taking part will be able to claim a free wristband – normally £15 - for the October festival, gaining access to discounted, £7 cocktails at 250 venues across the capital.

The festival organisers will list any guest shift by visiting bars - happening anywhere in the city and sponsored by any brand - free of charge on the London Cocktail Week events schedule, which will be promoted accordingly.

Sharman-Cox and Payne said: “We’re freely offering our platform to anyone who can get to London to showcase what you do to our audience. Your venue doesn’t need to be award-winning or in the top something-or-other (though we obviously won’t penalise you if are!). You don’t need to pay us any money. You just need to want to be here and want to share your skills and creativity.”
