Hospitality operator The Breakfast Group has announced a new partnership with Laki Kane, which will relaunch in central London, taking over from Burlock Bar on Oxford Street.

Helmed by the bar's founder Georgi Radev, Laki Kane Oxford Street will be open from late March 2026 and will feature a 3am license, a dance floor, and a more club-focused atmosphere, chanelling the qualities of tiki nightspot Mahiki - formerly run by Radev.

Laki Kane closed last summer after seven years.

Founded in 1991 by Eric Yu and Connie O’Donovan, The Breakfast Group operates cocktail bars and hospitality venues across the UK.

Laki Kane’s Oxford Street launch will see spin-offs such as its Spirit of Tiki Brunch, rum tasting experiences, rum-making workshops and cocktail masterclasses.

The food offering has been developed in collaboration with chef Colin Brown and will feature a Caribbean-inspired menu designed to complement the brand’s extensive rum programme. Dishes include rum BBQ wings with June plum and lime, jerk chicken with sweet and sour miso, salt fish fritters with mango chilli and the signature Laki Chicken Burger.

A statement read: "The partnership reflects The Breakfast Group’s continued investment in distinctive hospitality experiences and positions the Oxford Street site as a key destination for immersive nightlife and experiential dining.

"By combining The Breakfast Group’s operational expertise with Laki Kane’s strong brand identity and loyal following, the collaboration is expected to reinforce both brands’ presence within London’s competitive premium cocktail bar market."
