London cocktail festival Cocktails in the City has announced it will be returning to Bedford Square Gardens across three weekends this summer.

The 2023 summer series expects to welcome over 10,000 guests to sample cocktails from 60 of the capital’s bars.

In a new pop-up format, each weekend will showcase a different theme beginning with the Inspiration Edition on 6 to 8 July, followed by The Travel Edition on 17 to 19 August, and culminating with A Festival of Drinks on 7 to 9 September.

The Inspiration Edition will look to showcase the latest cocktail trends and will feature bars including Henson’s Bar and Social, Blue Bar at The Berkeley, Zetter Townhouse and Hacha Agaveria. Guests will also be able to attend workshops including The Art of Hosting by London Essence, cocktail making with TT Liquor, and try their hand at ice carving with Ice Carving Cool.

The Travel Edition will explore global flavours with a lineup that includes Café Pacifico, Chotto Matte, Laki Kane, Punch Room at London Edition, Kindred and The Aubrey at The Mandarin Oriental.

A Festival of Drinks will bring a festival atmosphere with live music and games welcoming bars including Prince Akatoki, Bourne & Hollingsworth, The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town, and Trailer Happiness.

“The combination of great bars, music, workshops and fun and games creates a really unique festival vibe right in the heart of London,” said Andrew Scutts, founder of Cocktails in the City.

“We are very privileged to have access to such a beautiful private garden and can’t wait to welcome guests back in 2023.”

Tickets are available from cocktailsinthecity.com for £22 and include a welcome cocktail.
