Gravity Southside in Wandsworth opens its first dedicated cocktail bar this April - Newton’s Bar.
The bar, located on the ‘New York floor' of the 1,000 sq. ft entertainment venue, draws influence from Big Apple’s loft appartments and design-led hotels.
With décor that includes wood panelling, parquet flooring, jewel-coloured velvet soft furnishings and industrial touches, the bar is designed to be a grown-up retreat and breather from Gravity’s “adrenaline-fuelled activities”.
The menu at Newton’s Bar will offer classics, contemporary mixes and six signature cocktails priced from £11.50 and exclusive to Gravity Southside.
They include: The Michael - a twist on the White Russian in homage to Gravity founder, Michael Harrison, consisting of Kettel One, Kahlua, chocolate bitters, cream and sugar - and The South Sea Company with Martin Millers, hibiscus syrup, crème de cacao, lemon and mint.
Contemporary twists on classics come in the form of the Smoked Maple Old Fashioned and the Chilli Mango Margarita.
