The team behind cocktail bar Stray has opened Bar Dos, a new 70-cover, music-focused late-night bar in Ancoats, Manchester.
Founded by Errant Group’s Fran Cruse, Ben Reilly and Ben Grainger, the venue combines cocktails, DJs and playlists curated by acclaimed artists.
The drinks offering spans draft beer, wine and a cocktail programme, which is split into two sections: Uno, featuring the bar team’s interpretations of classic cocktails, and Dos, a list of original creations.
Each drink has been designed with low-waste in mind, while glassware leans into more durable, yet playful styles.
The décor by Errant Group, puts functionality, comfort and lighting at the fore, with standout features such as the central table and freestanding sofa sourced from local makers.
Playlists will be curated by artists including Private Joy, Space Afrika, Chunky and Konny Kon of Children of Zeus, establishing music as a defining facet of the bar’s identity.
Bar Dos, located at 76 Great Ancoats Street Manchester, opens Wednesday-Sunday, closing at 1am on weekends.
