Dante will become a permanent fixture at Claridge's from July, following the success of the New York restaurant-bar’s ever-extending residence at the Mayfair hotel last year.
Linden Pride’s Italian-American-accented all-day dining and cocktails venue takes over the former Claridge’s Restaurant space once again “blending Dante's NYC spirit with Claridge’s heritage” to create Dante Mayfair.
Cocktails will remain at the heart of the experience with serves available throughout the day. Highlights include Dante's Caviar Martini, the Breakfast Martini made with Bombay Sapphire and Café Sicilia marmalade or 'Salty Dog’ with fluffy pink grapefruit, vodka and rosemary. Dessert cocktails also feature including Amaro Shakerato and Amalfi Limonata.
There will also be a daily Martini Hour from 3pm-5pm with mini Martinis priced at £10.
Alongside favourites from the Claridge’s x Dante pop-up, the food menu will feature a number of playful additions such as the Dante Smash Burger, the Bodega Breakfast dish with bacon, egg & cheese brioche rolls and Fireside Smores Soft Serve.
The dishes are billed as “some of the most casual dishes to ever be served under Claridges’ roof”.
Dante NYC – which was founded as Café Dante in 2015 - won World’s Best Bar at The World’s 50 Best Bars 2019.
It since added further sites in New York – Dante West Village and Dante Aperitivo – and a site in Beverly Hills.
