The Spy Bar at Raffles London has announced that Marcello Toscano will be joining the management team alongside Sotiris Konomi and Davide Sinibaldi.
The hire marks a reunion for the trio who have previously worked together in developing the beverage programme and the opening of fine dining Chinese restaurant Noble Palace and the venue’s Mi Bar.
Toscano brings eight years of hospitality experience, including a stint at Scout under Matt Whiley and Rich Woods, and most recently as general manager of A Bar with Shapes for a Name.
“I’m proud to join this exceptional team at the Spy Bar and reunite with Sotiris and Davide,” said Toscano.
“I look forward to contributing to a project that will shape an important chapter in Raffles London at The OWO and The Spy Bar history, and I’m confident we’ll build something that will leave a lasting mark on London’s bar scene and beyond”
Toscano will assume his new role at The Spy Bar from 25 February.
“This isn’t simply a new addition to the bar,” said Konomi. “It’s the coming back together of three professionals whose paths have evolved independently over the years and are now converging again.”
