Marcis Dzelzainis of Idyll Drinks and Andy Sweerts have launched Kazimo Mixers, a bartender-made range of canned cocktail mixers, that aims to bring bar-quality drinks to the home occasion.
Passion Fruit is a tropical, “subtly sweet” blend balanced with citrus and hops and is “perfect for an Aperol or Campari Passionfruit Spritz or mixed with gin, vodka, rum, tequila or whisky”.
Rhubarb is “sharp and refreshing”, adding a British twist to Mexico’s classic Paloma. It can be mixed with tequila or mezcal or use as a “versatile base with any spirit”.
Spicy Watermelon is refreshing with a fiery kick, “ideal for a Spicy Margarita”, with spiced rum or as a “vibrant base” for those who like a little heat.
Yuzu is “light, tangy, and aromatic”, combining yuzu, grapefruit, lemon, and mandarin with “floral undertones”, with uses including a Yuzu Margarita, as a Gin Collins or paired with any spirits.
Dzelzainis and Sweerts said the new range is “designed to make great cocktails simple, removing the barriers of complexity while keeping creativity at the heart of every serve”.
