The team behind Manchester’s 10 Tib Lane has announced a new wet-led venture coming to the city's Bloc building in November.

Posie, a 50-cover venue that straddles two levels, has a cocktail bar at its heart, promising to be a day-night, “social" and "vibrant” space, with a mix of booth seating, tables, and al fresco options.

The drinks menu will feature signature cocktails, wines, craft beer and a coffee programme, allowing the space to ”transition from day to right”.

While the kitchen will serve a concise seasonal menu of oysters, bar snacks and sharing dishes.

Joe White, co-owner of Posie, said: “We all grew up working in bars, restaurants and music venues with a passion for cocktails, cementing ourselves in some of the best hospitality spots in Manchester.

“Since opening 10 Tib Lane we have gained a reputation for great food with an inviting atmosphere, along with a delicious drinks menu. With our next venture, we really want to showcase our freedom to be experimental and creative, and make some of the best cocktails in the city.

“Posie will blend expertise and passion to craft unforgettable experiences, showcasing a thoughtfully curated cocktail menu, complemented by a carefully chosen wine list, sharing plates and coffee programme. We’re dedicated to creating moments that linger long after the last sip. Whether you’re here for a glass of wine and a snack, cocktails or a cup of coffee, we promise Posie will be a memorable experience for everyone.”

Bruntwood SciTech's Bloc is focused on wellness, work-life-balance, and productivity, and is home companies including Slalom, Medius Software and Coco Green.

The building features one of the city’s biggest living green walls, technology to monitor and optimise air quality, a wellness suite including studio gym, a sleep pod, co-working and office spaces, pop up wellness and physio room, and a cascading garden in the foyer.
