Bobby Hiddleston, ex-owner of Swift in London, has announced that his new venture will be a cocktail bar named Sally’s, located in the newly renovated Sheraton Stockholm Hotel.
The Scottish bartender and bar operator – who worked at Milk & Honey London, The Dead Rabbit and Callooh Callay before launching Swift with partner Mia Johansson - left London for Sweden a year ago.
Hiddleston said: “It’s really exciting to open in Stockholm and be part of the new, reimagined Sheraton. The hotel is undergoing a full revamp and when I was shown the renovations and plans – and just how much energy was being put into it – I saw it as something I can really get behind.
“I have been given almost complete creative freedom and the team have trusted my vision for Sally’s. I am very excited to show it off.”
Hiddleston has partnered with Swedish bar professional Niklas Forslin, who brings more than 15 years of experience from the Swedish cocktail scene, including the award-winning bar at Tjoget in Stockholm.
He said: “I am really looking forward to working with Bobby and the whole team at Sheraton. I have always looked up to Bobby, so when the opportunity to join him at Sheraton showed up it was really a no brainer for me to join."
