Three London bars feature on this year’s 51-100 list, the precursor to The World’s 50 Best Bars sponsored by Perrier,  which is released October 8th.

The highest-ranked of the trio of bars is Paul Lougrat and Remy Savage’s Dalston venue A Bar with Shapes for a Name, which drops from no.61 to no.73 this year.

Once again Erik Lorincz’s Kwant Mayfair made 50 Best’s under list, this year featuring 79th having narrowly missed the top 50 last year.

One place down is Max and Noel Venning’s Three Sheets Soho, which launched last year and debuts at number 80.

Meanwhile departing the 51-100 this year are London bars Amaro and Viajante87.

Dropping from last year’s World’s 50 Best Bars to this year’s 51-100 list are: Byrdi, Melbourne; El Gallo Altanero, Guadalajara; Florería Atlántico, Buenos Aires; La Sala de Laura, Bogotá; Licorería Limantour, Mexico City; and Martiny's, New York.

The upper echelons of the 51-100 list features bars that often ascend to the main list the following year. This year’s 51-60 were Angelita, Madrid; Licorería Limantour, Mexico City; Bar Cham, Seoul; Bar Mauro, Mexico City; Bar Pompette, Toronto; Argo Hong Kong; Wax On, Berlin; Freni e Frizioni, Rome; Schmuck, New York; and LPM Dubai, Dubai.
