Courvoisier has announced the launch of a new nationwide cocktail competition, spotlighting the creativity, craft, and breakthrough moments of the UK’s bartending community.

The Courvoisier Connoisseur Cocktail Competition is now open, inviting bartenders to submit a signature serve that tells their story and reflects the daring elegance of Courvoisier.

With a bold focus on storytelling and craft, the competition is designed to champion the people behind the bar - their moments of growth, inspiration, and mastery, through the lens of Courvoisier’s refined yet versatile cognac.

This April, registered bartenders will receive a Courvoisier Connoisseur Kit to inspire their entry. Using the kit, they’ll craft a cocktail that captures their breakthrough moment. Registrations close 27 April, followed by entries closing 20 May, where then ten semi-finalists are selected to compete at Heat 1 during BCB London (30 June–1 July 2025). There, entries will be judged across two rounds - a consumer vote and a panel presentation to determine the final three.

Those three finalists will be invited to take part in the Grand Final, an unforgettable experience at the newly renovated Maison Courvoisier in Jarnac, France. Set in the heart of the Cognac region, the experience will see finalists dive deep into the brand’s heritage and artistry before presenting their final serves to a panel of judges.

The overall winner will be crowned the ultimate Courvoisier Connoisseur and awarded £10,000 to fuel and advance their career.

Jono Mayes, National Bartender Advocacy and Engagement Manager at Campari, said: “The Courvoisier Connoisseur Cocktail Competition is about more than the perfect serve — it’s about celebrating the people who bring our spirit to life.

“We’re excited to give bartenders a platform to share their breakthrough moment and to raise a glass to their creativity and craft.”

Entries are now open, with all eligible bartenders who register receiving an exclusive Courvoisier Connoisseurs kit to get their entry started.
