Bartender Gracie Goggins has announced she will leave Project Halcyon in Manchester next month and join The Last Word in Edinburgh.
The Class Bar Awards finalist spent two and a half years at Halcyon having been part of the opening team, working under Adam Taylor, who also recently left the venue.
Goggins told CLASS: "My time at Halcyon has been nothing short of a dream, unlike most dreams, this one was filled with ambition, madness, and the rare joy of having those wild ideas not just entertained but embraced. Adam saw potential where others might have seen chaos, and for that, I shall remain forever in his debt. To him and the team, who turned every challenge into triumph, I offer my deepest gratitude. The past two years were, quite literally, my Halcyon Days.
"Now, onto the next grand adventure! Joining The Last Word is a thrilling prospect, an opportunity not just to work, but to grow, to learn, and to be part of a venue as storied as it is beloved. I cannot wait to step behind the bar, raise a glass with new friends, and continue this marvellous journey."
Goggins' last shift at Project Halcyon will be April 17.
