JRA Bars, the owners of Nottingham’s tequila and cocktail den 400 Rabbits and Café Bar & Bistro Le Petit Vert in Farnsfield, is to open new city centre venue, Loose Ends.
Overlooking Nottingham Castle, Loose Ends will be an intimate all-day café-bar serving coffee and light bites by day and cocktails by night.
The menu will include natural wines, "zero-waste cocktails", an "eco-friendly spirits selection" and an ever-changing beer selection.
The drinks programme will be headed up by Jennifer Aspell and Julien Latil, previously GM of 400 Rabbits and now heading up operations and drinks development across the group.
Loose Ends is expected to open in late spring and plans to open initially from Thursday through to Sunday, morning until late.
James Aspell, JRA bars director, told CLASS: “I'm really excited to bring this new venue to Nottingham. We're doing something a little different to our other two places.
"The focus is very much on crafting and delivering an incredible cocktail and drinks list. I think it will go down well in this stunning part of the city.”
400 Rabbits meanwhile celebrates its tenth anniversary later this year. It opened in November 2015 as Nottingham's first dedicated tequila and mezcal bar and went on to be nominated as Specialist Bar of the Year at the Class Bar Awards 2020 and a finalist in the Best Bar in the Midlands category at the Awards in 2023.
