Mia Kumari, the CLASS Bar Awards Bartender of the Year 2023, is to leave Satan's Whiskers.

The ex-American Bar at the Savoy bartender's last shift at the Bethnal Green-based Bar of the Year 2024 will be on February 27th. 

Kumari wrote on social media:. "Thank you to the entire team both past and present that I've been lucky enough to work with, I've learned so much from all of you. Thank you to Kevin Armstrong for taking me on.

"Back in 2018, I attended a Satan's Whiskers talk all about freezers, cocktails and keeping things bloody cold. Since then it was always the final goal. I'll always open my freezer by the inch now. 

"Wouldn't you rather be drinking classics? The answer is always."

Kumari has yet to announce her next move.
