Dave Marsland visited the latest in the Bunny Jackson's line of bars - Bunny's Country Club.

Bunny Jackson’s has become a Manchester go-to, bringing good times, wings, bourbon and a lick of Americana to the city.

Now, in an expansion into the old Liquor & Burn site in the city’s Northern Quarter, we have Bunny’s Country Club, bringing more of a country music vibe to their usual dive bar scene.

The décor sees wooden flooring, oak barrels for tables and the walls adorned with American paraphernalia. With a heavy emphasis on bourbon, the Old Fashioned of the Month feels like a new treat every time, taking in seasonal twists, while there is a good range of signature and classic cocktails.

It wouldn’t be Bunny’s without the wings, though this bar is plenty different from its sister venues – with live country acts five times a week it feels like a slice of Nashville has arrived in Manchester.

Here the vibe is more Honky Tonk, but if you want to go full Shania Twain, upstairs at Bunny’s Karaoke is the dessert to your Old Fashioned and wings main course.
