Stuart McCluskey, previously of Bon Vivant Group, has opened Little Capo in Edinburgh’s New Town.
The all-day neighbourhood restaurant-bar serves Italian-inspired dishes paired with classic Italian cocktails, and has a strong non-alcs offering and an evolving wine list.
The team behind Little Capo includes husband-and-wife duo Will and Jess Oxenham, who bring experience from Sydney, London, and New York, alongside Robbie McDermott (formerly of Bon Vivant and Lady Libertine) and head chef Jamie Broussine (Decanter, Bodega).
McCluskey said: “We’re aiming to create a strong sense of community around Little Capo. Our dining counter is perfect for solo diners, date nights, or a quick drink on the way home.
“The menu is designed with a focus on quality and value, ensuring a family-friendly experience that welcomes everyone.”
Little Capo opens Wednesday evenings and Thursday to Sunday from 12pm–10pm, with plans to expand to seven days later this year.
