Lyndon Higginson has parted ways with The Liars Group, the portfolio of bars he co-founded.

The bar entrepreneur based out of Manchester was behind the concepts of the group's nationally famous The Liars Club - which closed in late 2023 - Cane & Grain, Crazy Pedro’s and The Bay Horse Tavern.

Higginson said: "I spent over a quarter of my life doing this, so it’s a pretty emotional goodbye. I think I came up with some pretty cool concepts over the last 13 years and The Liars Club, Cane & Grain, Crazy Pedro’s and The Bay Horse Tavern will always be a part of me as much as I hope I remain a little part of them.

"Nothing would ever be possible without the amazing staff, both past and present across all these venues. So thank you! And of course, thanks to everyone who came through the doors and made these bars what they are today. I hope you all had as much fun as I have."

"I wish Jobe, Dave and all the staff the very best of luck with everything in the future."

Higginson remains co-owner of Bigger Boat Leisure (Bunny Jackson's, Junior Jackson's, Lost Cat, Wolf at the Door, Dogtown) and Junkyard Golf which has seven nationwide sites.
