Mike Bower and Nathan Price have announced the launch of a new neighbourhood bar in Liverpool’s Albert Dock.
Bar Glue, which is set to open its doors at the end of the month, will launch in the former site of the recently closed Burnt Milk Hotel, the bar where Price and Bower were managers.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Price, who earlier this year was crowned the global winner of Patrón Perfectionists, said: “We were viewing sites and looking to begin our bar journey when the chance to buy out Burnt Milk Hotel came up. We love the site and to have the opportunity to continue building the relationships that we’ve made with our guests over the last two years made the decision easy.
“We knew we could really utilise the space for the vision that we have so we took the site on as our first venture. Our passion is in community, great service, delicious drinks and being a neighbourhood cocktail bar, which is exactly what Bar Glue will be.”
Bar Glue will open at 33 Anchor Courtyard on 30 August.
