Swift Borough has launched its first new menu since opening in 2022, ‘South of The River’, which is available in its basement bar The Back Pocket.

The menu, which went live earlier this week, sees 14 original cocktails that pay homage to the heritage of the city below the Thames, from the Crystal Palace to the Greenwich Meridian.

Infinity is a nod to the Tate Modern and is built with infused Belvedere vodka, kumquat, lemon, makrut lime & Moet & Chandon champagne, while Coburg combines Roku gin, Cynar, blackberry & Oloroso sherry and is inspired by the original name for the Old Vic Theatre.

The Evergreen embodies the wooded landscape that once enveloped the area south of the Thames to One Tree Hill in Honor Oak Park, combining Beefeater gin, green apple, cucumber, celery & lime, while Meridian - a tribute to navigation and timekeeping – is a mix of Hennessy VS cognac, Whistlepig 10yr whiskey, Jägermeister Manifest & Macadamia.

Co-founder Bobby Hiddleston, who leaves Swift later this summer, said: “With this menu we wanted to create something that spoke to our guests, whether you’re a local or a tourist; the idea was to create a drink and story that is sure to excite even the most discerning cocktail aficionado.

"I’m really proud of the team's hard work on creating such an immersive menu by harmonising both storytelling and taste in such a seamless way.”
