The Port of Leith Distillery, with its innovative vertical design, recently landed in Edinburgh’s ever-vibrant Leith neighbourhood.
It plays host to a smart bar restaurant which serves as a destination eating and drinking experience, as well as a welcome conclusion for those touring the production space.
Cocktails are elegantly rendered, whisky flights are approachable, the Table Whisky is a revelation, and there’s a strong sense that the place has been carefully crafted to hit high notes with a broad audience.
The distillery will attract international interest, so it’s heartening to see such a strong bar offering at its core.
