Jeff 'Beachbum' Berry – one of the world’s foremost experts on tiki – has launched the digital resource Total Tiki Online.
The new site, which follows in the footsteps of Berry’s hit Iphone app by the same name, takes in more audio and video content, while also offering historical information on the bars, drinks and people behind tiki culture.
Berry said: “It’s a cutting-edge recipe management and ingredient inventory system, but it’s also a living digital museum regularly updated with new visuals plus background information on places and people from the past and present."
The site includes over 250 curated historical exotic drink recipes from Don the Beachcomber, Trader Vic, and many others, including the authoritative recipes for the Zombie, Mai Tai, and Scorpion, and scores of tiki cocktails from the 1940s onwards.
