Soho-based Henson’s Bar at Mimi’s Hotel has launched a new menu featuring spirits from across the globe.

“This menu showcases some of my favourite destinations across the globe, through the spirits used in each cocktail,” said bar manager Francesco Delfino who devised the new menu.

“After being stuck inside for over two years, we wanted to celebrate some of the amazing established and smaller brands that the world has to offer.”

Inspired by the US, Truffle in Paradise uses truffle oil fat-washed Maker’s Mark 46, Cacao Tempus Fugit and to the north, the Canada-inspired Alex the Great features Canadian Crystal Head vodka, Amaretto Velvet, banana, Cacao Tempus Fugit and herbal Amaro Averna.

Heading south are cocktails using Copalli Cacao Rum from Belize, Flor de Cana 12 from Nicaragua and Ojo de Dios Café Mezcal from Mexico.

Australasia gets the nod with the Nightini which uses Scapegrace Black from New Zealand, and from Europe comes cocktails using Icelandic vodka, two from Scotland, one which uses Monkey Shoulder and Macallan 12 and the other a twist on a Gin Fizz with Hendrick’s Gin, Chartreuse and Blue Curacao.
