Non-alcoholic aperitif brand, Everleaf is launching a nationwide competition which invites UK bartenders to create an enticing spritz serve that transports the drinker to one of Everleaf’s three biomes.

Bartenders taking part will be asked to submit a recipe for an aperitif they feel captures the feeling of either Forest, Mountain or Marine biomes, with the final entries being tasted and judged by founder Paul Mathew, bar owner and conservation biologist.

The competition presents bartenders with an opportunity to showcase creativity when it comes to no/low alcohol serves, a category which has an ever-increasing popularity and continues to grow.

Each entry must use no more than five ingredients including Everleaf, and will need to showcase innovative uses of flavour, aroma, texture and presentation to transport the judges on a journey of the natural world.

The winner of the competition will receive two places on a trip to Iceland to meet Paul and experience all the wonders of the natural world that Iceland has to offer, from forest restoration projects to mountain hikes and sustainable seafood, giving them the chance to learn about the importance of environmental sustainability which is at the heart of Everleaf.

Entries for the competition are open until 30th April 2022 and all the entry details are available on the Everleaf website. Once the entries close the judging panel will review the submissions and decide on a final three, which will then be tasted and judged by founder, Paul Mathew, with the winner announced at the end of May.

Launched in 2019, Everleaf makes the world’s most complex non-alcoholic aperitifs with depth, aroma, flavour, body & complexity which rival some of the greatest alcoholic brands on the market.
