MPs will debate the issue of ‘Support for the Hospitality Industry during Covid-19’ tomorrow (March 24) in the House of Commons.
The subject of the debate has been determined by the Backbench Business Committee, following pressure from the hospitality industry.
General debates allow MPs to debate important issues, however they do not end in a vote nor can they change the law.
The debate – last on the parliamentary schedule, so likely in the afternoon - will be televised. A transcript of the debate will follow a few hours after.
