Diary Date: ZONIN1821 has announced this year’s Portfolio Tasting will take place in the heart of The City at Haberdasher’s Hall on Tuesday, 25th March. The event will run from 11h00 to 17h00. Pre-registration is essential.

The tasting will feature 180 wines from 30 producers and is a must-attend event for those involved in buying and selling wine in HoReCa. Drinks buyers, bartenders, mixologists and sommeliers are all very welcome.

Zonin1821 is renowned for its breadth of Prosecco styles, and will show five ZONIN Proseccos, including ZONIN Cuvée Zero, a non-alcoholic alternative to Prosecco which makes a fabulous base to mocktails or served straight up as a celebratory fizz.

Zonin1821’s portfolio includes eight leading Italian estates which are owned by the Zonin family and which are located in some of the best Italian regions. These include Castello di Albola in Chianti and Ca’ Bolani in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The portfolio also comprises additional wines from the world’s top producing countries, including: Argentina; Chile; France; New Zealand; South Africa; Spain; and – for the first time – Lebanon; Chateau Barka’s vineyards are located on Mount Lebanon, overlooking the Bekaa Valley and the estate is a recent addition to the Zonin1821 portfolio.

Sustainability initiatives are a focus across the Zonin1821 Estates & Wines and participating wineries will highlight these at the tasting, from careful water management to increasing biodiversity and reducing carbon emissions.

Zonin1821’s commitment to Italian culture will be celebrated with live music from Italian artist Francesco Poiana. And London One Radio – the UKs top Italian radio station – will broadcast live from the event.

Attendees can choose from two Masterclasses – both in partnership with the UK Sommelier Association – taking place at the tasting.
