If your bar puts the planet first, why not enter the Class Bar Awards' Sustainable Practices Award, which is now open for entries.
Sustainability behind the bar takes many forms and our panel of judges will assess entries on everything from the sourcing of ingredients to the reduction of waste and the elimination of single-use products to energy efficiency.
The winner will showcase how their practices have contributed to creating a bar industry that places less of a burden on the environment.
To enter the Sustainable Practices Award, simply follow this link to the application form. Entries close February 17th.
Past winners of the award include Gungho! (pictured), Ugly Butterfly, Pubilq, Terroir Tapas (twice) and Smultronstalle.
While most of the Class Bar Awards categories are decide by an industry vote, five of the awards - those most suited to a written entry - are entered by either the nominee or a nominator.
Submissions are also currently open for Bar Employer of the Year, Emerging Bartender of the Year, Bar Manager of the Year and Front of House of the Year.
Judging the Submission Entries are the CBAs Regional Chairs and the CBAs hosts: Hamish Smith, Anna Sebastian and Declan McGurk.
