Islington’s Homeboy Bar has announced the second volume of its music-inspired Setlist menu.

The menu, which is available at the bar from today, features 16 cocktails divided into three sections: Eye Openers and Sharpeners, Robust and Refreshing, and Deluxe Drinks.

“The cocktails on The Setlist Vol. 2 are a representation of our team's dedication to looking after our guests with approachable and thoughtful drinks crafted with care and attention,” said owner Aaron Wall about the new menu.

“The R&D on the menu started with our guest, trusting their palate and believing the genius should be in the taste not the explanation of the drink. We take inspiration from a foundation in classics, we look to everyday life and how we highlight the wonderful spirits we are using. For this we keep an eye on what’s contemporary, rather than relying on the next trend.

“The Setlist Vol.1 was a departure from our previous black and white menus to a feast for the eyes, we went from a non-committal menu that was easy to pick up, and quickly choose a drink from to a menu that is even more engaging and people enjoy flicking back and forth through.”

New signatures include the Shamrock Shake, a Jameson Black Barrel-spiked take on a mint chocolate chip milkshake, and Los Perros, a drink that takes inspiration from the Paloma, Siesta, and Cantarito with reposado tequila, Campari, four citrus sherbet and bell pepper cordial topped with grapefruit soda.

The new menu also makes space for some old Homeboy favourites like the Irish Coffee, Wogan and Whiskey Smash.
