Bart Miedeksza and Valentino Girotto, the team behind Newington Green’s Crossroads Bar, have announced the release of their debut book, a guide to carbonation.


Bubbles: A Guide to Carbonated Cocktails draws on the pair’s research and practical knowledge to provide a practical guide to the techniques associated with carbonation.

“We’ve spent years refining our techniques and discovering the nuances of carbonation,” said Miedeksza and Girotto.

“We feel the industry is ready for this next step in cocktail innovation, making it an opportune time to release the book.

“Our aim is to provide a detailed, practical guide that demystifies carbonation. We’re excited to empower bartenders to experiment and elevate their craft with everything they can learn from the book.”

The guide has been edited by drinks writer and frequent CLASS contributor, Millie Milliken with a foreword written by American bartender and educator Jeffrey Morgenthaler.

Bubbles: A Guide to Carbonated Cocktails is available from Monday 12 August via the Crossroads website as a hardcover physical copy or ebook.
