Babur, a high-end Indian restaurant in Honor Oak Park in London, has has been exploring Indian flavour profiles in cocktails since 2010. Its Currytini is made with Bombay Sapphire Gin, fresh curry leaf, green chilli, dry vermouth and lime cordial.

Ingredients:
40ml gin
40ml vermouth
50ml lime cordial
One sprig of fresh curry leaf
One small piece of green chilli
Method:
Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice cubes. Place the piece of chilli into a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add the fresh curry leaf and muddle well. Add the gin, lime cordial and vermouth to the cocktail shaker and shake well. Remove the ice cubes from the cocktail glass. Double strain the cocktail into the chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a whole green chilli and curry leaf
