Covent Garden’s Eve Bar has announced the appointment of Mike Redman, formerly of American Bar at The Savoy and Lab 22, as head bartender.
The appointment will also see the promotion of Ellie Ireland to assistant bar manager with the pair joining bar manager Matt Fitzgerald and bar director of Adam Handling Group, Josh Linfitt to form the senior bar team at Eve.
“I've known this young gun from his days back in Cardiff at Lab 22, seeing his career bloom, gaining experience with our neighbours, the Savoy hotel,” said Linfitt.
“Mike's passion for his craft, his drive to push Eve into the new realms, his determination for success and very cheeky smile are all infectious qualities.
“He is exactly what Eve Bar was needing and I can't wait to see how he progresses within our company. I am very much looking forward to helping and guiding him moving forwards.''
Ireland began working for the group as head bartender at The Loch and the Tyne in Old Windsor where she progressed to bar manager.
