Multi-award-winning bartender and operator Monica Berg will curate and host Le Bar Rouge, the educational platform at Cocktails Spirits in Paris, in her role as creative director at the Campari Academy.
The partnership marks the first time Le Bar Rouge has collaborated with a brand and will also be the debut of a new livestreaming platform from Campari Academy, due to launch in full in September.
The Campari Academy livestream project, hosted by Berg alongside Dean Callan, will see special guests from across the drinks industry discussing key talking points with the duo in an educational talk show format.
The project will comprise The Bar Show, a six-episode talk show series, and The Bar Show Show, which will spotlight key moments live from global bar shows.
Bartenders will be able to take part in the livestream on Youtube with a link to the stream to be made available via the Campari Academy Instagram channel.
Campari Academy, in partnership with Le Bar Rouge, will be hosting a dedicated stand at the Cocktail Spirits show, with four seminars by experts and bartenders each day, all streamed live.
The bartenders include Sam Orrock of Wax On, Berlin, Constanca Cordeiro of Uni, Lisbon, Erik Lorincz of Kwānt, London, and Alexander Frezza of L’Antiquario, Naples.
The curated lineup of seminars will see talks from experts from both inside and outside of the bar industry including Jack Muirhead of MAD Academy on the importance and the impact of education, Lorraine Copes of Be Inclusive Hospitality on the importance of narrative, particularly when it comes to inclusion and racial equity in the sector, Maria Canabal of Parabere Forum on driving gender balance in hospitality, and Daniel Waddy of Satan’s Whiskers and co-author of Roundbuilding on the general principles of roundbuilding.
Cocktails Spirits is taking place at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris on 4 and 5 June, links to the Le Bar Rouge livestreams will be made available via the Campari Academy Instagram channel.
