Registrations are open to two new CLASSROOM events on Tequila in association with Codigo.

Led by Tristan Stephenson (author of Fortnum & Mason's Drink Book of the Year: The Curious Bartender's Agave Safari) and co-hosted by Codigo's Simon Hodgson and CLASS' Hamish Smith, the event will see a deep dive into the tequila category over two days at Aethos Hotel, 10-50 Willow St, London EC2A 4BH.

On June 24, the Tequila CLASSROOM will see a deep dive into the category, exploring how soil, altitude, production methods and additives combine to create a spectrum of quality and styles. The session will include a guided tasting of the Codigo range alongside Tequilas made by alternative processes.

On June 25, the second Tequila CLASSROOM will build on the idea of production processes shaping flavour and narrow in on the influence of ageing in Tequila, with a tasting of the Codigo core range complemented by rarer, experimental cask-finished expressions.

Both sessions will run from 11am-2pm, with lunch from Karla Zazueta (@mexicanfoodmemories).

If you're a UK-based bartender sign up to either, or both, sessions here.
