Josh Linfitt has been appointed Class Bar Awards Regional Chair for the West of England and Wales.

Now based in Bath, the former bartender and brand ambassador has recently founded Fezant Creative Studios, placing him at the heart of the bar industry in the West of England.

Linfitt’s Class Bar Awards role will see him select voters from the likes of Bath, Bristol. Cardiff and surrounding areas to vote in the Class Bar Awards.

He will also co-judge the Submission Entries section of the Awards, alongside fellow chairs Natasha Corfield (Scotland), Dave Marsland (England, North), James March (England, Midlands), Ellen Manning (England, South West), Ronan Collins (Northern Ireland) and Hamish Smith (South East & East Anglia).

Linfitt has a career in hospitality spanning more than 20 years, working at bars such as Worship Street Whistling Shop, Ugly Butterfly and representing brands such as Scapgrace and most recently Schweppes.

Hamish Smith, editor of CLASS, said: “It’s a real boon to have Josh join our team of Regional Chairs. Deciding on the people who decide on the Awards is no small thing and Josh’s enthusiasm for the Class Bar Awards allied to his bulging contacts book, makes him the perfect fit for this role.

Linfitt added: “Being asked to Chair for the Class Bar Awards is a real honour and I will ensure the area I call my home is represented! See you at the awards!"

The Class Bar Awards takes place May 6th, during Class Week (May 4th-8th).
